Friday Ends Well
Today is the exact day that the Philippines commemorates 40th years of the imposition of Martial Law. September 21, 1972, when President Ferdinand Marcos placed Philippines under Martial Law (Proclamation No. 1081). Martial law was declared to suppress increasing civil strife and the threat of communist takeover following a series of bombings and a government-staged assassination attempt. I am not yet born that time, so I didn't experience what Martial Law is all about. I've heard and read a lot of stories, some are positive but most are negative, since it's been part of our history. But whatever happened in that 9 years long of being in the state of Martial Law, let's just leave it in to a history. photo grabbed: http://www.gov.ph/featured/declaration-of-martial-law/ Oh! let's forget about Martial Law thingy.... today in the present, after my daughters class I brought my kids to a mall and treat them a Mister Donut. Too bad! :( I wasn't able to take...
